PROJECT OUTCOMES AND OUTPUTS

OUTCOME
Improvement in Access, Relevance, and Quality of targeted universities strengthened (by 2015):

  • Cumulative enrollment increase  (at least 50% female) students from targeted universities (2018 baseline: Male:……. ; female: ………)
  • Average study duration for bachelor (S1) students from targeted universities decreased to 55 months for male and 52 months for female (2017 baseline: 60 months for male, 56 months for female)
  • Average share of graduates of targeted universities finding paid employment within 6 months of graduation increased to 37.1% for male and 34.4% for female (2018 baseline: 32.1% for male and 29.4% for female)
  • Cumulative university accreditation score of the targeted universities increases to 368 (2018 baseline: 249)
  • Cumulative program accreditation score of the targeted universities increases to 40 programs rated A (2018 baseline: 4 rated A)  representing 45% of all programs rated as A (2018 baseline: 4,6% rated A).

OUTPUT
Marketresponsive programs delivered:

  • UNJA upgraded through constructing and equipping 9 new buildings (including gender-responsive,d inclusive, and sustainable infrastructure) by 2023 (2018 baseline: 0)
  • At least 150 additional teaching, management, research, and support staff (of which at least 40% women) of  UNJA  trained, resulting in increased understanding of market-responsive programs and research by 2023 (2018 baseline: 0)
  • At least 12 upgraded or new curricula delivered by UNJA  COEs by 2024 (2018 baseline: 0)
  • At least 3 new research programs connected to the COE launched by UNJA by 2024 (2018 baseline: 0)
  • At least 15 additional training or service programs connected to the COE conducted by  UNJA by 2024 (2018 baseline: 0)
  • At least 8 additional memorandums of understanding with industry and other stakeholders signed by UNJA by 2023 (2018 baseline: 0)
