THE PROJECT FRAMEWORK

IMPACT

The project will significantly contributes to the improvement of the quality of education and teaching-learning process, the accessibility of high school graduates and other members of communities for quality university education, research capacity and quality, management quality and capacity and the relevance of university quality education to meet local, national, and regional standards. The target performance indicators are:

  • The improvement of Indonesia Human Development Index rank of at least 85 in 2025.
  • The improvement of the Indonesia Global Competitiveness Index rank to at least 44 out of 133 in 2025.
  • The ranking of the Higher Education and Training of Indonesia at least 58 in 2025.
  • Contribution to reduction of national disparity.
  • Gender parity in enrolment and completion across all the programs.
  • Good quality of Master and Ph.D programs offered at tertiary institutions.
  • The enhancement of all study programs accredited at least B by the National Accreditation Board in 2018.
  • The enhancement of the number of internationally recognized Study Program to 20% in 2025.

OUTCOME

The project aimed at improving the access, quality and relevance of the Higher Education. The target performance indicators are:

  • Increasing number of student enrollment from 22,014 in 2014 to 25,084 in 2018.
  • Increasing number academic staff with Ph.D qualification from 17.5% in 2014 to at least 25% in 2018.
  • Increasing number of academic staff with Professor qualification from 3,5% in 2014 to 5% in 2018.
  • Increasing number of permanent academic staff from 709 in 2014 to 1150 in 2018.
  • ncreasing number of permanent supporting staff from 329 in 2014 to 500 in 2018.
  • Increasing number of research conducted by academic staff from 250 in 2014 to 500 in 2018.
  • Increasing number of scientific publication (including books) from 20 in 2014 to 50 in 2018.
  • Increasing the number of academic staff involving in community service from 30% in 2014 to 80% in 2018.
  • Increasing number in intellectual property right (patent) from 1 in 2014 to 5 in 2018.
  • Increasing number in visiting professor/fellows from in country higher education institution from 0 in 2014 to 5 in 2018.
  • Increasing number in visiting professor/fellows foreign education institution from 0 in 2014 to 3 in 2018.
  • Increasing number in collaboration with private/industry sectors from 17 in 2014 to 35 in 2018.

  • Improvement in university accreditation status from B in 2015 to A in 2020 (accredited by National Accreditation Board for Higher Institution).
  • Improvement of academic staff to student ratio from 1:29 in 2014 to 1:20 in 2018.
